Yes, Squarespace allows SVG. You can upload SVG files to use on your site in a number of ways, including:

  • Uploading an SVG file to use as your site’s logo
  • Uploading an SVG file to use as an image on a page or post
  • Using the Squarespace HTML editor to add inline SVG code to a page or post

SVG files are Scalable Vector Graphics – a type of image file that can be scaled up or down without losing quality. They’re great for logos and icons, and can be used in a variety of ways on your Squarespace site.

To upload an SVG file to use as your site’s logo:

  1. In the Home Menu, click Design, and then click Logo & Title.
  2. Click Change Logo.
  3. Click Upload Logo, and then select your SVG file.

PRO TIP: SVG files are not currently supported by Squarespace. If you upload an SVG file, it may appear as a broken image on your site.
