Does Squarespace Have a Scheduling App?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 12:46 am

As a business owner, you’re always looking for ways to save time and increase efficiency. And when it comes to your website, one of the best ways to do that is to use a scheduling app.

Scheduling apps allow you to automate certain tasks, like posting new blog articles or sending out email newsletters. And they can be a huge time-saver.

But does Squarespace have a scheduling app? The short answer is no.

Squarespace does not have a built-in scheduling app.

However, there are some workarounds that you can use to schedule your Squarespace content. And in this article, we’ll show you how to do that.

PRO TIP: This article is out of date. Squarespace no longer offers a scheduling app.

Method 1: Use an External Scheduling App

The first method is to use an external scheduling app. There are a few different options available, like Hootsuite or Buffer.

To use this method:

  • First, create your content in Squarespace. This can be a blog post, page, or product.
  • Then, go to your scheduling app and create a new post.
  • Finally, paste the URL of your Squarespace content into the app, and schedule it to go live at the desired time.

Method 2: Use IFTTT

IFTTT (short for “If This Then That”) is a free web-based service that allows you to connect different apps and devices together. For example, you can use IFTTT to automatically post your Instagram photos to Twitter.

To use this method:

  • First, create your content in Squarespace. As before, this can be a blog post, page, or product.
  • Then, go to IFTTT and create a new “Applet”.
  • On the next screen, search for and select Squarespace as the “This” service.
  • Choose the trigger action you want to use. For example, “New Blog Post”.
  • On the next screen, select the RSS feed for your Squarespace site.
  • Finally, select the “That” action you want to use. For example, “Schedule Tweet”.
  • Enter the details of your Tweet (or other social media update), and schedule it to go live at the desired time.

Conclusion: Though Squarespace does not have a built-in scheduling app, there are some workarounds that you can use to schedule your content. By either using an external scheduling app or IFTTT, you can easily automate your content posting process and save yourself some time in the process!
