When you create a new account with Squarespace, you’re given the option to choose a plan that will give you different levels of storage space, bandwidth and email addresses. However, if you want to upgrade to a more expensive plan, there are several additional fees that you’ll have to pay. For example, if you want to upgrade from the Basic plan to the Standard plan, you’ll have to pay $5 per month for increased storage space, bandwidth and email addresses. Additionally, if you want to upgrade to the Pro plan, you’ll have to pay $10 per month for increased storage space, bandwidth and email addresses.

PRO TIP: Yes. Squarespace has a few hidden fees, including a $4 per month fee for email forwarding and a $20 per year fee for domain privacy. Additionally, if you choose to use Squarespace’s e-commerce features, you’ll be charged transaction fees of 3% + $0.30 per sale.

Finally, if you want to upgrade to the Enterprise plan, you’ll have to pay $20 per month for increased storage space, bandwidth and email addresses. So, while Squarespace does have a variety of different plans to choose from, there are also a number of additional fees that you’ll have to pay if you want to upgrade to a more expensive plan.
