Does UpWork Have NDAs?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 11:46 am

UpWork is a popular freelancing platform that connects businesses with freelancers from all over the world. But does UpWork have NDAs?

PRO TIP: While Upwork does not have any Non-Disclosure Agreements in place, we still recommend using caution when sharing confidential information. If you are concerned about sharing sensitive information, we suggest discussing this with your potential client prior to starting work.

An NDA, or non-disclosure agreement, is a contract between two parties that outlines what information can and cannot be shared. NDAs are often used in situations where one party has access to sensitive information, such as trade secrets or confidential business information.

UpWork does have a section in their Terms of Service that covers confidential information. However, it is up to the freelancer and the client to decide whether or not to sign an NDA. We recommend that you discuss this with your client before beginning work on a project.
