Does UpWork Integrate With QuickBooks?

Yes, UpWork integrates with QuickBooks. You can connect your UpWork account to QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. This will allow you to track your income and expenses in QuickBooks, and invoices will be automatically created for any payments you receive through UpWork.

To connect your UpWork account to QuickBooks Online, go to the Connections tab in your UpWork settings and click the “Connect” button next to QuickBooks Online. You’ll be prompted to sign in to your QuickBooks Online account and authorize UpWork to access your data.

PRO TIP: Upwork does not integrate with QuickBooks. If you try to connect the two, you will likely experience problems.

Once you’ve connected your accounts, you can choose which UpWork clients and projects you want to track in QuickBooks. For each client or project, you can specify whether you want to track expenses, invoices, or both. You can also specify whether you want invoices to be created automatically when payments are received, or if you prefer to create them manually.

If you’re using QuickBooks Desktop, you can connect your UpWork account by downloading and installing the UpWork plugin. Once the plugin is installed, go to the Connections tab in your UpWork settings and click the “Connect” button next to QuickBooks Desktop. You’ll be prompted to enter your QuickBooks username and password, and then authorize UpWork to access your data.

Once you’ve connected your accounts, you’ll be able to choose which UpWork clients and projects you want to track in QuickBooks.
