As an eCommerce platform, Wix is required to automatically calculate tax on all transactions. This includes both state and federal taxes, as well as any applicable local taxes.

In most cases, the tax rate will be based on the shipping address of the customer. However, there are some exceptions where the customer’s billing address may be used instead.
