Does Wix Do Domain Forwarding?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 2:25 am

Wix is a website builder that allows users to create and design their own websites. The platform is simple to use and offers a variety of features, including domain forwarding.

Domain forwarding is a process of pointing an existing domain name to a new website. This can be done by changing the DNS settings of the domain or by using a web-based forwarding service.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Wix offers both options, making it easy to forward your domain to your new website.

PRO TIP: Wix does not currently offer domain forwarding. This means that if you have a domain registered with another provider and you would like to use it with your Wix site, you will need to transfer your domain to Wix.

To use Wix for domain forwarding, simply log in to your account and go to the “Domains” tab. From there, you can either change the DNS settings of your domain or use the web-based forwarding service.

If you choose to use the latter option, simply enter the URL of your new website and Wix will take care of the rest.

Domain forwarding is a useful tool if you want to point an existing domain name to a new website. Wix makes it easy to do this by offering both DNS and web-based forwarding options.
