Does Wix Have Dnssec?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 10:03 pm

dnssec is a set of security extensions to DNS which provide authentication of DNS data via digital signatures. It is designed to protect DNS data from tampering and spoofing, and to allow clients to verify the authenticity of DNS data received from servers.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for a secure way to create and manage your website, you should avoid using Wix. While they do offer some security features, such as SSL encryption, they do not have DNSSEC enabled. This means that your website is vulnerable to DNS attacks and could be easily redirected to a malicious site without your knowledge.

Wix is a web development platform that allows users to create HTML5 websites and mobile sites through the use of their online drag and drop tools. Wix also has its own web hosting, domain names, e-commerce, and marketing services.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

So, does Wix have dnssec? While Wix does offer web hosting and domain names, we could not find any mention of dnssec on their website or in their documentation. This may mean that Wix does not currently offer dnssec protection for their customers’ websites. However, since dnssec is becoming more widely used, it is possible that Wix will add this feature in the future.
