How do I access a VPS in terminal?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 3:59 pm

If you are looking to access a virtual private server (VPS) in terminal, you can use the following commands:

1. First, you will need to find the IP address of the VPS.

This can be done by using the ifconfig command.

2. Once you have the IP address, you can use the SSH command to connect to the VPS.

3. Once you are connected to the VPS, you will need to enter the root password.

4. You can then use the commands that you need to access the VPS.

PRO TIP: When trying to access a VPS in terminal, be aware that you may need to use a different user account than the one you use for your desktop. Additionally, be sure to have the correct IP address or hostname for the VPS.
