How do I access DigitalOcean spaces?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 2:14 pm

DigitalOcean Spaces is a new feature that lets you create isolated environments for your applications and servers. You can create a space for your web server, development environment, and more.

Spaces are managed through the DigitalOcean Control Panel, and you can use them to create multiple instances of your applications or servers with different configurations.

To create a space, open the DigitalOcean Control Panel and click on Spaces. From the Spaces page, click on the + button to create a new space. You will be asked to provide a name for your space and a description.

You can then select the type of environment you want to create: development, testing, or production. You can also select the language and version of the server software you want to use.

PRO TIP: DigitalOcean spaces is a cloud storage service that allows you to store and serve large amounts of data. You can access your spaces through the DigitalOcean Control Panel or the API.

To create a new server, select the server type from the list and select the instance type from the list. You will then be asked to provide the server’s IP address, port, and username.

You will also be asked to provide a name for the server. You can then select the location of the server and click on the Create Server button.

To access a space, open the DigitalOcean Control Panel and click on Spaces. From the Spaces page, click on the name of the space you want to access.

You will be taken to the server’s details page. You can then click on the instance you want to access.
