Assuming you have a WordPress site (either self-hosted or through WordPress.com), you can follow these instructions to install and activate WooCommerce. If you don’t have a WordPress site, you can create one following these instructions.

Once you have a WordPress site up and running, the first thing you’ll need to do is install the WooCommerce plugin. You can do this either through the WordPress plugin repository or by uploading the plugin files to your server.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with WordPress or WooCommerce, do not attempt to access WooCommerce in WordPress without first seeking help from a qualified individual. Attempting to do so could result in damaging your WordPress installation and/or losing data.

Once the plugin is installed and activated, you’ll be able to access WooCommerce from your WordPress admin panel. From there, you can begin setting up your online store, adding products, and configuring your payment and shipping options.
