WooCommerce is a powerful eCommerce plugin that helps you turn your WordPress site into an online store. One of the great things about WooCommerce is that it provides a built-in checkout system so you don’t have to worry about setting up a third-party solution.

In this article, we’ll show you how to activate the WooCommerce checkout system.

First, you need to make sure that you have the WooCommerce plugin installed and activated on your WordPress site. If you don’t have WooCommerce installed, please follow our guide on how to install WooCommerce. Once you have WooCommerce installed and activated, you can move on to the next step.

The next step is to go to WooCommerce > Settings from your WordPress admin panel. On the Settings page, you need to click on the Checkout tab. This will take you to the Checkout Settings page where you can configure the checkout process.

On the Checkout Settings page, you’ll see a lot of options that you can use to customize the checkout process. However, we’re only going to focus on two options in this article:

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to manage your online store, you may be wondering how to activate the checkout process. By default, WooCommerce checkout is disabled. This means that customers will not be able to purchase any products from your store unless you manually enable checkout.

To enable WooCommerce checkout, go to the WooCommerce settings page and click on the Checkout tab. Then, select the Enable checkbox next to the Checkout option. Once you have enabled checkout, you can then configure the various settings related to the checkout process.

However, before you enable checkout, you should first make sure that your store is properly configured and that all of your products are set up correctly. Otherwise, customers may not be able to purchase anything from your store.

  • Checkout Pages: This option allows you to choose which page is used for the checkout process. By default, WooCommerce uses the default checkout page.

However, if you want to use a custom page for your checkout process, you can select it from this dropdown menu.

  • Force SSL on Checkout: This option allows you to force SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) on the checkout pages. SSL is a security protocol that encrypts data between your browser and the server. We recommend that you enable this option to make sure your customer’s data is safe during the checkout process.

Once you’re done configuring the options, don’t forget to click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

And that’s it! You have successfully activated the WooCommerce checkout system.
