Adding a CNAME to your Wix site is a great way to customize your domain and improve your site’s branding. To add a CNAME, you’ll need to access your Wix account and navigate to the DNS settings page. From there, you can add the desired CNAME record and save your changes.

Assuming you already have a Wix account and are logged in:

GREAT NEWS:

1. Go to www.com and click on the “Log In” button in the top-right corner of the page.

2. Enter your email address and password, then click on the “Log In” button.

3. Click on your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the page and select “My Domains” from the drop-down menu.

4. Find the domain you want to add a CNAME record to and click on the “Manage” button next to it.

5. Scroll down to the “DNS & Redirects” section and click on the “Add Record” button.

6. In the “Name” field, enter the desired subdomain (e.g., www).

7. In the “Host” field, enter “@”.

8. In the “TTL” field, leave the default value as is or select “1 Hour”.

9. Click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with DNS or CNAME records, we recommend that you contact your domain registrar or hosting provider for assistance. Adding a CNAME record to your DNS settings can potentially break your website if not done correctly.

That’s it! You’ve successfully added a CNAME record to your Wix domain.

Note: It may take up to 48 hours for changes made to DNS records to propagate throughout the internet.
