How Do I Add a Facebook Feed to Shopify?

Adding a Facebook feed to your Shopify store is a great way to show off your social media presence and engage with potential customers. Luckily, there are a few different ways to do this, and we’re here to walk you through the process.

The first method is to use the Facebook Page Plugin. This is an official plugin from Facebook that allows you to embed your Facebook feed on your website.

To do this, you’ll need to create a Facebook Page for your business (if you haven’t already), and then get the Page ID for that page. Once you have the Page ID, you can add the following code to your Shopify theme:

PRO TIP: If you are considering adding a Facebook feed to your Shopify store, be aware that this could negatively impact your store’s performance. Your store’s load time could increase, and customers may have difficulty accessing your products and checkout process. Additionally, Facebook’s algorithms may prioritize your store’s content over other content on your website, resulting in less traffic to your site overall.

Replace “yourpage” with your actual Facebook Page URL or Page ID. You can also adjust the width, height, and other settings in the code to customize how it looks on your site. Once you add this code to your theme, you should see your Facebook feed start appearing on your Shopify store.

The second method is to use a Shopify app like SocialShopWave or Fera.io. These apps allow you to add social media feeds from a variety of platforms (not just Facebook) to your Shopify store. They’re both fairly similar in terms of features and price, so we recommend trying out one of them and seeing which one you prefer.

To add a Facebook feed using SocialShopWave, first create an account and connect your Shopify store. Then, go to the “Social Feeds” section and click on “Facebook”.

Enter the URL of your Facebook page and choose which type of feed you want to display (timeline, events, etc.). You can also customize the look of your feed using the various settings options. Once you’re happy with how it looks, click on “Save” and then “Publish” to make your changes live on your shopfront.

Adding a Facebook feed to Shopify is a great way to show off your social media presence and engage with potential customers. There are a few different methods you can use to do this, depending on what suits your needs best. With a little bit of effort, you can get started today and start reaping the benefits of having a more connected store!
