There are a few ways to add a gift card to your BigCommerce store. You can either enter the gift card information into the store’s admin area, or you can use one of the store’s built-in gift card plugins.
To add a gift card to your store through the admin area, first go to the Store Settings page and click on the Gift Cards tab. You’ll then be able to enter the gift card’s information into the appropriate fields.
First, it is important to make sure that the gift card is from a reputable source. There have been cases of people adding gift cards from fraudulent websites, and then losing money when the gift card turns out to be invalid.
Second, even if the gift card is from a reputable source, there is always the possibility that it could be used fraudulently. If you receive a notification that your gift card has been used, but you do not remember using it, it is possible that someone has stolen your card information.
If you do decide to add a gift card to your BigCommerce account, we recommend that you keep a close eye on your account activity and report any suspicious activity to us immediately.
If you’d rather use one of the store’s built-in gift card plugins, you can find them under the Shop section of the admin area. Simply select the product that you’d like to gift, and then click on the Gift Cards tab.
From here, you can enter the gift card’s information into the appropriate fields.
