Adding a location on Shopify is easy and only takes a few steps!

First, you need to log into your Shopify account. Once you’re logged in, click on the Online Store tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Next, click on Themes. On the Themes page, find the theme you want to edit and click on the Actions button.

In the drop-down menu, select Edit code.

On the Edit code page, find the Layout folder in the left-hand sidebar. Inside of the Layout folder, click on theme.liquid. Find the < head > section of code and add the following line of code:

< !-- Add your location here -- >

Replace “Add your location here” with your actual location. For example, if you’re located in New York City, you would add:

< !-- New York City -- >

Once you’ve added your location, click on the Save button at the top of the page. That’s it! You’ve successfully added your location to your Shopify store.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to add a location on Shopify, be aware that there are some potential risks involved. Specifically, if you do not set up your location properly, you could end up with duplicate listings in your Shopify store, which could lead to confusion for your customers. Additionally, if you do not add all the necessary information about your location (such as address, hours of operation, etc.), you may find that your customers have a difficult time finding you or that they are not able to take advantage of all the features of your shop.
