How do I add a PNG to InVision?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:33 pm

Adding a PNG to InVision can be done in a few simple steps.

First, open up InVision and click on the File menu. From here, select Import and then select PNGs.

In the window that pops up, you will need to provide some basic information about the PNG. Name, resolution, and file size are all important.

Once you have entered all of the necessary information, click on the Import button. In the next window, you will be given the option to place the PNG in your document or in a separate layer.

If you choose to place the PNG in a separate layer, you will need to give the layer a name and a Target. The layer will then be used to store the PNG file.

If you want the PNG to be used directly in your document, you will need to select the option to Use In-Document.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to add a PNG to InVision and it is not working, it is likely because the file is too large. InVision only supports files that are up to 1MB in size.

Once you have made your decision, click on the OK button.

Now that the PNG has been added to your InVision document, you will need to give it a background color. To do this, select the layer containing the PNG and click on the Appearance panel.

From here, you will be able to select a background color for the image.

Finally, you will need to add the PNG to your project. To do this, click on the File menu and then select Export.

From here, you will be given the option to export the document as a PNG. Click on the OK button to export the PNG.

Congratulations! You have added a PNG to your InVision project.
