How do I add a SSL certificate to HostGator?

Adding SSL certificates to HostGator is relatively easy. First, go to the “Server” tab in your account and click on the “SSL” link. This will open a window similar to the following:

First, you will need to find the certificate you want to add. HostGator offers a variety of SSL certificates, so it can be a little difficult to find the one you are looking for.

The easiest way to find the certificate you need is to search for it. To do this, enter the name of the certificate in the “Search” box and click on the “Go” button.

Once you have found the certificate you are looking for, you will need to select it. To do this, click on the “Select” button next to the “Certificate” field and select the certificate you want to add.

Next, you will need to add the certificate to your HostGator account. To do this, click on the “Add” button next to the “Certificate” field and enter the information for the certificate. The following information will need to be entered:

– The name of the certificate
– The domain name (or domain name prefix) for the certificate
– The Common Name for the certificate
– The date the certificate was issued
– The country of origin for the certificate
– The type of certificate
– The serial number of the certificate
– The private key for the certificate
– The thumbprint of the certificate

Once the information has been entered, click on the “Add” button and the certificate will be added to your account.

Finally, you will need to set up a policy for the certificate. To do this, go to the “Server” tab in your account and click on the “Policies” link. This will open a window similar to the following:
