How do I add an author in WordPress?

Adding an author in WordPress is easy. First, log into your WordPress site and click on “Appearance” in the admin area. Then, click on “Menus” in the left-hand menu and select “Add New Menu Item.” In the “Item Name” field, type “Authors.

PRO TIP: Adding an author in WordPress can be done by going to the Users tab in the WordPress Dashboard. Once you are on the Users page, you can click the Add New button to add a new user. Enter the new user’s username, email address, and password. Once you have added the new user, you can then assign them to a role.
