Adding categories and subcategories in WooCommerce is a quick and easy process. To begin, open the WooCommerce admin area and click on the “Categories” tab. This will display a list of all of the categories and subcategories that WooCommerce has been configured with.

To add a new category, click on the “Add New Category” button and enter the category name into the text field. To add a new subcategory, click on the “Add New Subcategory” button and enter the subcategory name into the text field.

Once you have added the desired categories and subcategories, you can configure the settings for each category and subcategory. To do this, click on the “Settings” tab and click on the “Categories” tab. This will display the list of all of the category settings.

To add a new setting, click on the “Add New Setting” button and enter the setting name into the text field. To modify an existing setting, click on the “Edit” button and enter the new value into the text field.

PRO TIP: When adding categories and subcategories in WooCommerce, be sure to carefully organize your products into the appropriate categories. Incorrectly categorized products can result in poor customer experience and decreased sales.

Finally, you can configure the settings for the entire category or subcategory by clicking on the “Settings” tab and clicking on the “Subcategories” tab. This will display the list of all of the subcategory settings.

Once you have finished setting the category and subcategory settings, click on the “Save Changes” button to save the changes to the category or subcategory.

Once you have finished adding, modifying and saving the category and subcategory settings, you are ready to go live with your new category and subcategory system. To do this, click on the “Settings” tab and click on the “General” tab.

This will display the “Category Settings” and “Subcategory Settings” pages, where you can enter the name of the new category or subcategory and click on the “Submit” button.

Your new category and subcategory system will now be live on your WooCommerce website.
