Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:17 pm

Adding Google Analytics to Squarespace is a simple process that can track your website’s traffic and performance. To begin, head to Analytics.com and create a new account. Once you’ve created your account, enter your Squarespace site’s unique identifier in the “Site ID” field and click “Next.” In the “Analytics Settings” section, you’ll need to choose a tracking type and add your site’s domain.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, adding Google Analytics to Squarespace can adversely affect your site’s performance. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully and test your site after adding the code to ensure that it is still running smoothly.

Click “Save” to finish setting up your account. Next, open your Squarespace site in a web browser and click the “Analytics” tab. In the “Google Analytics” section, click the “Install” button to add Google Analytics to your site. Once the installation is complete, you’ll see a new “Google Analytics” tab in your Squarespace site’s “Admin” section.
