Adding your Gmail account to your DigitalOcean account is easy. To get started, log in to your DigitalOcean account and click on the Domains tab.

In the Domains section, click on the Add Domain button.

Enter your domain name into the Domains field and click the Add Domain button.

You will be asked to provide your Gmail credentials. Type in your Gmail address and password into the fields and click the Login button.

You will now be redirected to the Gmail page in your DigitalOcean account. Click on the Add Accounts button and select Gmail from the list of accounts.

Click the Add Account button and you will be brought to the Gmail account settings page.

Click on the Email Addresses tab and add your Gmail address to the list.

PRO TIP: If you are adding your Gmail account to your DigitalOcean domain, be aware that this may cause problems with your email deliverability. Gmail may mark your messages as spam if it detects that you are sending email from a domain that is not registered with them.

Click on the Save Changes button and you will be returned to the Domains section of your DigitalOcean account.

Click on the domains button and you will now see your newly added Gmail domain listed.

Click on the domain to open the domain settings page.

Click on the DNS section and enter your DigitalOcean IP address into the IP Address field.

Click on the A Records tab and add your DigitalOcean hostname into the Hostname field.

Click on the CNAME Records tab and add your DigitalOcean hostname (without the www prefix) into the CNAME field.

Click on the Update DNS Settings button and you will be returned to the Domain Settings page.

Your Gmail account is now added to your DigitalOcean account and you can start using it to send and receive email.
