Adding a GoDaddy domain to HostGator can be easy. To begin, log in to your HostGator account.

From the main menu, select “Account Settings.” On the “Domains” tab, click on the “Add Domain” button.

Enter the required information for your GoDaddy domain, including the domain name, hostname, and SOA record. You can also add a CNAME record for your website.

Next, select the appropriate hosting plan for your domain. HostGator offers a variety of plans to fit your needs.

PRO TIP: If you are adding a GoDaddy domain to your HostGator account, be sure to use the correct nameservers. The GoDaddy default nameservers are:

NS1.GODADDY.COM
NS2.GODADDY.COM

If you use any other nameservers, your domain will not resolve and you will not be able to access your website.

If you’re already a HostGator customer, you can add your GoDaddy domain without any additional sign-up requirements. Simply enter your GoDaddy account information into the “Domain Details” field.

If you’re not a HostGator customer, you’ll need to sign up for a free account. Once you have an account, enter your GoDaddy account information into the “Domain Details” field.

HostGator will then create a new hosting plan for your domain and add it to your account. You’ll now be able to access your domain and start hosting your website.

If you have any questions about adding your GoDaddy domain to HostGator, please feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help you get started with hosting your website on our platform.
