PRO TIP: If you are using Shopify as your ecommerce platform, you may want to add your Namecheap domain to your store. However, before you do this, you should be aware of a few things.

First, when you add a domain to Shopify, it will automatically set up a subdomain for your store. For example, if your domain is example.com and you add it to Shopify, your store will be accessible at example.myshopify.com.

Second, if you have email accounts associated with your Namecheap domain, adding the domain to Shopify will cause those email accounts to stop working. This is because Shopify uses its own email servers and does not support external email accounts.

Third, adding a Namecheap domain to Shopify will cause any DNS records that are currently associated with the domain to be replaced with Shopify’s default DNS records. This means that any customizations you have made to your DNS settings will be lost.

Before you add your Namecheap domain to Shopify, be sure to back up any email accounts associated with the domain and make a note of any custom DNS settings so that you can recreate them after the switch.

After you have reviewed the user’s access, click on the “Submit” button. On the “Add users” form’s “Review” tab, you can review the user’s access to the domain’s.
