Adding PayPal to your WordPress site is easy and free. Simply log in to your PayPal account and add the PayPal payment gateway to your WordPress site.

Once you’ve added PayPal, you can start accepting payments through your WordPress site.

To add PayPal to your WordPress site, log in to your PayPal account and click on the “PayPal” logo in the top right corner of the login screen. On the “PayPal” page, click on the “Add a Payment Gateway” button. On the “Add a Payment Gateway” page, enter your WordPress site’s domain name in the “Domain” field, and click on the “Register” button. On the “Registration” page, enter your WordPress site’s administrator username and password in the “User Name” and “Password” fields, and click on the “Register” button. On the “Registration” page, click on the “Configure” button. On the “Configure” page, click on the “PayPal” tab, and enter your PayPal site’s payment gateway ID in the “Gateway ID” field. Click on the “Save” button. On the “Configure” page, click on the “Link Accounts” tab, and enter your WordPress site’s PayPal login information in the “PayPal Login” and “PayPal Password” fields. On the “Link Accounts” tab, click on the “Activate” button. On the “Activate” page, enter your WordPress site’s PayPal activation code in the “Activation Code” field, and click on the “Activate” button. Click on the “Exit” button. On the “Configure” page, click on the “Advanced” tab, and enter your WordPress site’s PayPal redirect URI in the “Redirect URI” field. On the “Configure” page, click on the “SSL” tab, and enter your WordPress site’s SSL certificate information in the “SSL Certificate” and “SSL Certificate Path” fields.

PRO TIP: This article is out of date and no longer applies to the current version of WordPress. PayPal no longer offers a free gateway for WordPress, and there are no longer any free plugins that support PayPal payments. If you’re looking for a way to accept PayPal payments on your WordPress site, you will need to sign up for a paid gateway or use a third-party service.

On the “Configure” page, click on the “Security” tab, and enter your WordPress site’s PayPal security code in the “Security Code” field. On the “Configure” page, click on the “Currency” tab, and enter your WordPress site’s PayPal currency code in the “Currency Code” field. On the “Configure” page, click on the “Security” tab, and enter your WordPress site’s PayPal security code in the “Security Code” field. On the “Configure” page, click on the “Exit” button.

Congratulations! Your PayPal payment gateway is now installed and configured on your WordPress site. To start accepting payments through your WordPress site, go to your WordPress site’s “Settings” page, and under the “Payment” tab, click on the “Add a Payment Method” button.

On the “Add a Payment Method” page, enter your PayPal account information in the “Payment Method” field, and click on the “Submit” button. Your PayPal payments will now be processed through your WordPress site.
