How Do I Add Text Effects in Canva?

Adding text effects in Canva is easy! With the text editor tool, you can style your text to be bold, italicized, underlined, and more. You can also change the color of your text, and add shadows and other effects.

To add a text effect in Canva:

1. Open the Canva editor and select the design you want to work on. 2. In the editor toolbar, click on the ‘Text’ tool. 3. A new text box will appear. Type out your text. 4. To style your text, highlight the text you want to style and click on the ‘B’ icon for bold, the ‘I’ icon for italic, or the ‘U’ icon for underlining.

5. To change the color of your text, click on the color picker next to the ‘B’ icon and select a color from the palette, or enter a hex code. 6. To add a shadow effect, click on the ‘A’ icon and select ‘Shadow’. Choose a color and an angle for your shadow effect. 7. Once you’re happy with your text effect, click ‘Apply’. 8. Your text will now have the selected effects!
