How Do I Adjust Color Adjustments in Photoshop?

In Photoshop, there are a few different ways that you can adjust colors. You can use the levels tool, the curves tool, or the hue/saturation tool.

You can also adjust colors by using the color balance tool or the vibrance tool.

The Levels Tool

The levels tool is one of the most basic ways to adjust colors in Photoshop. To use the levels tool, go to Image->Adjustments->Levels. This will bring up a window with three sliders. The left slider controls the shadows, the middle slider controls the midtones, and the right slider controls the highlights.

By moving these sliders, you can change the overall brightness of an image as well as the contrast. You can also use this tool to correct color casts. To do this, click on the drop-down menu next to “Input Levels” and select “Auto-Color.” This will correct any color casts in your image.

The Curves Tool

The curves tool is similar to the levels tool, but it gives you more control over your image. To use the curves tool, go to Image->Adjustments->Curves. This will bring up a window with a graph.

This graph represents all of the tones in your image from black to white. The horizontal axis represents the input values and the vertical axis represents the output values. By moving these points around, you can change the overall brightness and contrast of your image as well as change specific colors.

The Hue/Saturation Tool

The hue/saturation tool is another way that you can adjust colors in Photoshop. To use this tool, go to Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation. This will bring up a window with three sliders: hue, saturation, and lightness.

Hue allows you to change the overall color of an image. Saturation allows you to increase or decrease the intensity of colors. Lightness allows you to make an image lighter or darker.

The Color Balance Tool

The color balance tool is another way to adjust colors in Photoshop. To use this tool, go to Image->Adjustments->Color Balance.

This will bring up a window with three sliders: shadows, midtones, and highlights. These sliders allow you to shift the colors in your image towards one end of the spectrum or another.

The Vibrance Tool

The vibrance tool is similar to the saturation tool, but it gives you more control over your image. To use this tool, go to Image->Adjustments->Vibrance.

This will bring up a window with two sliders: vibrance and saturation. Vibrance allows you to increase or decrease the intensity of colors without washing them out like saturation can sometimes do.

There are many different ways that you can adjust colors in Photoshop. The levels tool is one of the most basic ways to adjust colors in Photoshop while still having a lot of control over your image quality. The curves tool is similar to the levels too but gives even more control over how your final product looks like by changing specific tones throughout your picture’s range from black to white on a graph
