If you’re running an online store, you know that there’s a lot of data to keep track of. Orders, customers, products, inventory.. the list goes on.

It can be tough to keep everything straight, especially if you’re running a busy store. One way to help keep your data organized is to automatically archive old orders. That way, you can focus on more recent data and keep your store running smoothly.

So how do you automatically archive orders on Shopify? The process is actually pretty simple. Just follow these steps:

PRO TIP: If you are considering automatically archiving orders on Shopify, be aware that this may cause problems with your accounting. Archive orders are not included in your Shopify reports, so you will need to generate a separate report for them. Additionally, archived orders are not included in your Shopify orders export, so you will need to export them separately as well.

1. Log in to your Shopify account and go to the Orders page. 2. Select the order that you want to archive.

3. Click the More actions button (.) and then select Archive order from the drop-down menu. 4. Confirm that you want to archive the order by clicking OK in the pop-up window.

That’s it! Once you’ve followed these steps, the selected order will be archived and removed from your Orders page. If you ever need to access an archived order, you can find it by going to the Archived orders section of your Shopify account.

Archiving orders is a great way to keep your Shopify account organized and tidy. By taking a few minutes to archive old orders, you can save yourself time and hassle down the road.
