There are many reasons why you might want to batch convert RAW files to JPEG. Perhaps you need to share your photos with someone who doesn’t have a RAW file viewer, or maybe you want to make a backup of your photos in a more widely-compatible format. Whatever the reason, Photoshop makes it easy to convert multiple RAW files to JPEGs in just a few steps.

First, open Photoshop and go to File > Scripts > Image Processor.

A new window will open up. Select the folder of RAW files that you want to convert, and then choose whether you want to save the JPEGs in the same folder or in a different one. You can also choose whether you want to resize the photos and/or include any copyright information.

Once you’ve made your selections, click OK. Photoshop will now process all of the RAW files and convert them to JPEGs.

When it’s finished, a new window will open showing all of the newly created JPEGs. You can now close the Image Processor window.

And that’s all there is to it! Now you know how to batch convert RAW files to JPEGs using Photoshop.

PRO TIP: When batch converting RAW files to JPEG, it is important to note that any settings applied to the RAW file will be carried over to the JPEG. This includes any cropping, white balance, exposure, or other adjustments that have been made. Be sure to check your settings before converting to JPEG to avoid unwanted changes.
