Bulk editing WooCommerce products can be a real time-saver when you need to make changes to a large number of products at once. This can be especially useful for updating products with new information, such as changing the price or description of a group of products.

In this article, we’ll show you how to bulk edit WooCommerce products in three different ways:

Option 1: Bulk Edit Using the WordPress Bulk Editor

The first option for bulk editing WooCommerce products is to use the WordPress Bulk Editor. This method is quick and easy, and it doesn’t require any plugins.

Simply go to Products > All Products in your WordPress admin panel and select the products you want to edit. Then, click on the Edit button in the top-right corner.

On the next screen, you’ll see a list of all the fields that you can edit for each product. Make your changes and then click on the Update button at the bottom of the page.

Option 2: Bulk Edit Using a Plugin

If you want more control over your bulk edits, or if you need to edit product data that’s not available in the Bulk Editor, then you can use a plugin. Our favorite plugin for bulk editing WooCommerce products is WooCommerce Bulk Editor. This plugin lets you edit almost any piece of data for your products, and it has a user-friendly interface.

PRO TIP: Bulk editing variable products in WooCommerce can be risky and may lead to unexpected results. Be sure to back up your database before proceeding.

To use WooCommerce Bulk Editor, install and activate the plugin. Then, go to Products > Bulk Edit.

On the next screen, you’ll see a list of all your products and their data. Make your changes and then click on the Update Changes button.

Option 3: Bulk Edit Using CSV Files

WooCommerce Product CSV Import Suite, which is available as a paid plugin, lets you bulk edit your products using CSV files. This method is ideal if you need to make a lot of changes at once or if you need to import product data from another eCommerce platform.
