In this article, we will discuss how to calibrate your AWS scale without weights. To do this, you will need to use the AWS Management Console and the EC2 Simple Load Balancer (SLB) metrics.

To calibrate your AWS scale, open the AWS Management Console and click on the EC2 tab.

Under the EC2 section, select your instance type and click on the Details button.

In the Details pane, select the Load Balancer metric and click on the Properties button.

Under the Load Balancer metric properties, click on the Calibrate button.

The Calibrate dialog box will open. In the Calibrate dialog box, enter the desired weight in kilograms and click on the Update button.

PRO TIP: If you are calibrating your AWS scale without weights, be aware that the process may not be accurate. Weights are needed in order to accurately calibrate a scale, and without them the calibration process may not produce accurate results.

Your instance will now be calibrated and the Load Balancer metric will reflect the new weight.

Finally, under the EC2 section, select the instance and click on the Actions button.

Under the Actions pane, select the Stop button.

Your instance will now be stopped and the weight will be reflected in the instance details.
