If you’ve decided that HostGator isn’t the right hosting solution for you, cancelling your hosting account is easy.

To cancel your HostGator hosting account:

Log into your HostGator account. Click the “My Account” link in the top left corner of the home page. Click the “Account Information” link in the top right corner of the My Account page.

PRO TIP: If you are considering cancelling your HostGator hosting and requesting a refund, please be aware that there is a non-refundable $15.99 domain fee. Additionally, any hosting services used within the first 45 days are also non-refundable.

Scroll down to the “Hosting” section and click the “Cancel Hosting” link. Complete the cancellation form and click the “Submit” button.

When you cancel your HostGator hosting account, all of your hosting data, including your account name, password, and hosting plan will be deleted. You will not be charged for any of your hosting services and you will have 30 days to return your HostGator account and any unused hosting services.
