How do I cancel my Shopify subscription?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 2:36 am

If you decide that you no longer want to subscribe to Shopify’s services, there are a few steps that you need to take in order to cancel your subscription.

First, you will need to login to your Shopify account and navigate to the Subscriptions page. Here, you will be able to see all of your active subscriptions and cancel any that you no longer want to keep.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about cancelling your Shopify subscription, please be aware that there are potential consequences. First, if you cancel your subscription, you will no longer have access to the Shopify platform and all of your data will be deleted. This includes any products, customers, or orders that you have in your shop. Secondly, if you have a Shopify Payments account, it will also be closed and you will no longer be able to accept payments through Shopify. Finally, please keep in mind that once you cancel your subscription, you will not be able to reactivate it.

If you have a paid subscription, you will also be able to cancel that subscription by clicking on the “Cancel Subscription” button next to the subscription that you want to cancel. If you have an active free trial subscription, you will need to cancel that first before you can cancel your paid subscription.

Once you have cancelled your subscription, you will no longer be charged for that service, and you will no longer have access to that subscription content. If you have any questions about cancelling your subscription, please feel free to contact Shopify customer support.
