Cancelling a Squarespace domain is a relatively simple process. First, you’ll need to log in to your account and find the domain you want to cancel.
Once you have found the domain, click on the “Manage Domains” link in the left-hand menu.
PRO TIP: If you are thinking about cancelling your Squarespace domain, please be aware that there are some potential consequences. First, you will no longer be able to use that domain for your Squarespace site. Second, you may lose any email addresses associated with that domain. Finally, if you have purchased a custom domain through Squarespace, you will not be able to get a refund for that purchase.
On the “Manage Domains” page, you’ll see a list of all of your domains. Click on the “Cancel Domain” link next to the domain you want to cancel.
On the “Cancel Domain” page, you’ll be asked to confirm your cancellation. Click on the “Cancel Domain” button to finalize your cancellation.
