There are a few different ways that you can change an instance of a Figma file. The first way is to simply double-click on the instance, which will open up the file in a new window. From here, you can make any changes that you want and then save the file. The second way is to right-click on the instance and select “Edit in Place” from the menu.

This will open up the file in the current window, allowing you to make changes and then save them. The third way is to select the instance and then click on the “Edit” button in the top bar. This will also open up the file in the current window so that you can make changes and save them.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on changing an instance of a Figma, be sure to back up your work first. Instances can be tricky to change, and you may end up losing work if you’re not careful.

So, those are a few different ways that you can change an instance of a Figma file. If you need to make changes to multiple instances, then you can use the first method to open up each file in a new window.

Or, if you want to make changes to just one instance, then you can use any of the other methods. Whichever method you choose, just be sure to save your changes when you’re done.
