How do I change my default order status in BigCommerce?

In BigCommerce, there are a few methods you can use to change your default order status.

You can change your default order status in the Account Settings page of your BigCommerce account.

1. Click on the Account Settings link in the top navigation bar.

2. On the Account Settings page, under Order Status, you can change your default order status to any of the following:

Open: Your orders are still open, and you can continue to make changes to your order.

PRO TIP: If you are changing your default order status in BigCommerce, be aware that this will only affect new orders going forward. It will not change the status of any existing orders.

Pending: Your order is still in progress, but has not yet been completed.

Completed: Your order has been completed, and you can no longer make changes to it.

Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled, and you will not receive any products or payments.

3. Click the Save Changes button to save your changes.

4. You will now see your new default order status in the Order Status column of the My Orders page.
