Although it is not required, it is always a good idea to change your FTP password to something more secure. This is especially true if you use your FTP to access your server remotely. To change your FTP password on DigitalOcean, follow these steps:

Log in to your account on DigitalOcean. Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen. Under “Account Info”, click on “FTP”. In the “FTP Profile” section, click on the “Password” link.

PRO TIP: If you are changing your FTP password on DigitalOcean, be sure to use a strong password that is difficult to guess. A strong password should be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Enter your new password in the “New Password” text field and click on the “Update Profile” button. Click on the “Log Out” button to finish.
