If you’re new to Figma, you may be wondering how to change your interface. The good news is, it’s easy! In this article, we’ll show you how to change your interface in Figma.

There are two ways to change your interface in Figma: via the Preferences menu, or by using the keyboard shortcut.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, changing your interface in Figma can lead to problems with your design. Make sure to backup your design before making any changes, and test the new interface thoroughly before using it in production.

To access the Preferences menu, go to File > Preferences (Windows) or Figma > Preferences (macOS). From here, you can select the Interface tab and choose your preferred color theme. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + , (Windows) or Cmd + , (macOS).

Once you’ve selected your preferred color theme, Figma will automatically update the colors of your interface to match. If you ever want to go back to the default color theme, simply select it from the Preferences menu or use the keyboard shortcut again.
