Shopify’s homepages are highly customizable. With a little HTML and CSS knowledge, you can change the look and feel of your homepage to match your brand. Here’s how:

First, log into your Shopify admin and go to Online Store > Preferences. Under Storefront, you’ll see an option to Edit code.

Click that.

Next, find the theme.liquid file in the Layout folder. This is the file that controls the look and feel of your homepage. If you’re not sure what to change, start by looking for the < head> section. This is where you can add custom CSS to change the looks of your site.

Once you’ve made your changes, click Save. Your changes will now be live on your site.

Conclusion:

With a little HTML and CSS knowledge, you can easily change the look and feel of your Shopify homepage to match your brand. Simply log into your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Preferences, and click Edit code under Storefront.

Then, find the theme.liquid file in the Layout folder and make your changes. Once you’re done, click Save and your new homepage will go live on your site!

PRO TIP: If you are not a Shopify developer or are not comfortable working with code, we recommend that you do not attempt to change your Shopify homepage code. Making changes to your code can result in your Shopify store looking broken or malfunctioning. If you are not confident in your ability to make code changes, we recommend that you reach out to a Shopify Expert.
