When you first open Adobe Photoshop, you’re faced with a blank canvas. You can fill that canvas with color in a variety of ways. The easiest way is to use the paint bucket tool, which can be found in the toolbox on the left side of the screen.

Once you have the paint bucket tool selected, simply click on the area of the canvas you want to fill with color. A dialogue box will appear asking you to select a color. You can either choose one of the colors from the palette or enter in a specific hex code.

If you want to get more specific with your color choices, you can use the eyedropper tool to select a color from anywhere on your computer screen. Simply click on the eyedropper tool and then click on the color you want to use. The color will be added to your palette so you can use it again later.

Now that you know how to fill your canvas with color, let’s talk about how to change pixels in Photoshop. If you want to make a specific area of your image larger or smaller, you can use the Marquee tool. This tool can be found in the toolbox next to the paint bucket tool.

To use the Marquee tool, simply click and drag over the area of your image that you want to change. A dialogue box will appear asking you how much you want to change the size of your selection. Enter in a number and click “OK.” Your selection will now be resized.
