How Do I Change the Artboard Background in Photoshop?

If you want to change the background of your artboard in Photoshop, there are a few different ways you can do it. You can either use the fill tool, or you can create a new layer and fill it with color.

To use the fill tool, simply select the color you want to use for your background and then click on the “Fill” option in the toolbar. You can also use the keyboard shortcut “Shift + F5” to quickly fill your artboard with color.

If you want to create a new layer for your background, first create a new layer by clicking on the “Create a New Layer” icon in the layers panel. Then, select the color you want to use for your background and use the paint bucket tool to fill the layer with color.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, do not attempt to change the artboard background. You may inadvertently damage the file or create unwanted changes.
