How Do I Change the Author on Squarespace?

One of the great things about Squarespace is that you can easily change the author of a post without having to edit the actual post. This is especially useful if you are working with guest authors or if you want to change the author of an old post.

To change the author of a post, simply go to the “Posts” section of your Squarespace site and click on the post that you want to edit. Then, click on the “Options” button in the top right corner and select “Change Author. ”

In order to change the author, you will need to contact Squarespace customer support and request that they make the change for you. Be prepared to provide them with your account information and the new author’s information so that they can make the change.

In the “Change Author” popup, simply select the new author from the dropdown menu and click “OK.” The new author will be saved automatically.

Remember, you can only change the author of a post if you are logged in as an administrator.
