How Do I Change the Banner in WooCommerce?

Last updated on January 14, 2023 @ 3:53 am

There are a few ways that you can change the banner in WooCommerce. One way is to go to the WordPress Dashboard and click on “Appearance”.

Then, click on “Customize”. From here, you will be able to change the header image by clicking on the “Header Image” tab and then uploading the image that you would like to use as your banner.

Another way to change the banner in WooCommerce is to edit the code directly. To do this, you will need to access your website through an FTP client such as Filezilla. Once you have accessed your website’s files, you will need to navigate to the “wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/” folder.

In this folder, you will find a file called “header.php”. This is the file that controls the banner for your WooCommerce store. You can edit this file directly or you can create a child theme and make your changes in the child theme’s header.php file.

If you are not comfortable editing code, then we recommend that you use a plugin such as Header Footer Elementor or Header Footer for any changes that you would like to make to your banner. These plugins will allow you to make changes to your banner without having to edit any code.

No matter which method you choose, changing the banner in WooCommerce is relatively easy and should only take a few minutes.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with code or are not comfortable working with code, we recommend that you do not attempt to change the banner in WooCommerce. Doing so could break your site.
