How Do I Change the Color of a Section in Squarespace?

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with CSS, we recommend using a pre-made template as attempting to change the color of a section in Squarespace can result in unpredictable and undesirable results.

There are many ways to change the color of a section in Squarespace. One way is to use the Design tab in the sidebar.

Under Design, there is a Colors section. Here, you can change the color of your site’s background, text, links, and more.

If you want to change the color of a specific section, you can do so by going to that section and selecting the Change Colors button in the toolbar. This will bring up a color picker where you can choose a new color for that section.

You can also change the color of your site’s text by using HTML tags. To do this, simply add the ‘color’ attribute to the opening

tag of your text element.

For example, if you want your text to be red, you would add ‘color=”#FF0000″‘ to your

tag. You can also use CSS to style your text, which we will cover in another article.
