There are many reasons you might want to change the color of your logo. Maybe you’re redesigning your website and want to give it a fresh look, or maybe you want to stand out more on social media. Whatever the reason, changing the color of your logo is easy to do in Squarespace. Here’s how:

First, open the logo editor by clicking the Design tab and then selecting Logo & Title from the left-hand sidebar. You’ll see your current logo on the right. To change the color, click on the color picker next to Color in the logo editor.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with coding or working with CSS, we recommend working with a developer to make these changes for you. Making changes to your code can result in unexpected issues on your live site if done incorrectly.

You can either enter a hex code or choose a color from the palette.

If you want to match your branding colors exactly, you can find your hex codes by opening your site in Design Mode and hovering over any element that’s been styled with a color. The hex code will appear in the bottom-left corner.

Once you’ve chosen a color, click Apply and then Save & Close. Your new logo color will be applied to your site immediately.

Conclusion: To change the color of your logo in Squarespace, open the logo editor by clicking on the Design tab and then selecting Logo & Title from the left-hand sidebar. Click on the color picker next to Color in the logo editor and either enter a hex code or choose a color from the palette. Once you’ve chosen a color, click Apply and then Save & Close.
