Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:03 pm

By default, when a customer completes their purchase on your WooCommerce store, they are redirected to the “Thank You” page. This page contains a thank you message, order details, and other important information.

However, you may want to redirect your customers to a different page after they complete their purchase. For example, you may want to send them to a custom “Thank You” page that contains additional information or upsells. Or, you may want to send them to a specific landing page on your site.

In this article, we will show you how to change the return URL in WooCommerce so that customers are redirected to a custom URL after completing their purchase.

Step 1 – Log into your WordPress Dashboard and go to WooCommerce > Settings.

Step 2 – On the Settings page, click on the Checkout tab.

Step 3 – On the Checkout tab, scroll down to the “Thank You” Page section and click on the “Change” link.

Step 4

– On the

“Select Thank You Page”

, select the page you want to redirect your customers to after they complete their purchase and click on the

“Save Changes” button.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress site, you may want to change the default return URL. By default, WooCommerce will take customers to the “My Account” page after they have completed a purchase. However, you can change this URL to any page on your site.

When changing the return URL, it is important to make sure that the page you are redirecting customers to is accessible and that they will be able to find their way back to the “My Account” page if needed.

.

Now that you have successfully changed the return URL in WooCommerce, your customers will be redirected to the custom URL you specified after they complete their purchase.
