How Do I Change the Thickness of a Line in Canva?

There are a few different ways that you can change the thickness, or weight, of a line in Canva. One way is to select the ‘Line’ tool from the left hand side menu, and then click on the ‘Weight’ drop down menu in the top toolbar. Here you can choose from a range of different thicknesses for your line. Another way to change the thickness of a line is to select the ‘Line’ tool and then click on the ‘Advanced Settings’ button in the top toolbar. This will open up a pop up window with more options for customizing your line, including the thickness. You can also change the color, opacity and end type of your line using the advanced settings.

If you want to style text in HTML using < b > and < u > tags where applicable, you first need to understand what these tags do. The < b > tag is used to make text bold, while the < u > tag is used to underline text. You can use both tags together or separately, depending on how you want your text to look.

To use these tags, simply enclose the text you want to style with the opening < b > or < u > tag, and then close it off with the corresponding < /b > or < /u > tag. For example, if you wanted to make some text bold and underlined, you would write it like this:

< p >< b >< u >This text is both bold and underlined< /u >< /b > < /p >
< p >< b >This text is just bold< /b >< /p >
< p >< u >This text is just underlined< /u >< /p >

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can easily change the thickness of a line in Canva and end up with an image that looks distorted or unbalanced. Be sure to use the preview function to check your work before exporting it.
