One of the most common questions we see from Squarespace users is “How do I change the title font in Squarespace?” The answer is actually quite simple – you need to use the <b> tag.

The <b> tag is used to create bold text, and it is the perfect tool for changing the title font in Squarespace. To use the <b> tag, simply add it to the beginning of your title text, like this:

This is my title

You can also use the <b> tag to create other types of bold text, such as headings and subheadings. Just add the <b> tag to the beginning of your heading or subheading text, like this:

<b>This is my heading</b>
<p><u>This is my subheading</u></p>

You can also use the <b> tag to style other elements on your page, such as lists and block quotes. Simply add the <b> tag to the beginning of your list or blockquote text, like this:

<ul><li><b>item 1</b></li>
<li><b>item 2</b></li></ul>
<blockquote><p><b>This is my blockquote</b></p></blockquote>

You can use the <p>, <u>, <i>, <em>, and <strong> tags to style your text in HTML. These tags are known as "inline" tags because they can be used within a block of text. The <p>, <u>, <i>, <em>, and <strong> tags all have different effects on your text. The <p> tag defines a paragraph of text.

The text within a paragraph is usually formatted with a left margin and a right margin. The first line of each paragraph is usually indented. To format your text with a paragraph tag, simply add the opening <p> tag at the beginning of your paragraph, and add the closing

tag at the end of your paragraph. like this:

This is my first paragraph of text. This paragraph has a left margin and a right margin. The first line of this paragraph is indented.

This is my second paragraph of text. This paragraph does not have any margins defined, so it will default to having a left margin and a right margin. The first line of this paragraph is not indented because there are no margins defined.

You can also use inline tags to style specific words or phrases within a block of text. For example, you might want to make a word or phrase bold, italicized, or underlined . To do this, simply add the opening tag for the style you want to use around the word or phrase you want to style, like this:

This sentence has a word that is underlined.

This sentence has a word that is bold.

This sentence has a word that is italicized.
