How Do I Connect Confluence to Figma?

Last updated on November 26, 2022 @ 12:10 pm

There are a few different ways that you can connect Confluence to Figma, depending on what you’re trying to achieve.

If you want to embed a Figma file in a Confluence page, you can use the Figma macro. This macro lets you embed an entire file, or just a specific frame from a file.

To use the macro, add it to your Confluence page and then paste in the URL of the Figma file that you want to embed. You can find more information about how to use the Figma macro here: confluence

If you want to be able to link from a Confluence page to a specific frame in a Figma file, you can use the ‘Share’ link in Figma. To get this link, open the file in Figma and click ‘Share’ in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, copy the ‘Link to this frame’ and paste it into your Confluence page.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that connecting Confluence to Figma may result in unexpected behavior and/or data loss. We recommend that you backup your data before proceeding.

Alternatively, if you’re using Bitbucket Server or Data Center, you can connect Bitbucket Server and Figma together using OAuth. This will let you link directly from Bitbucket Server commits and pull requests to specific frames in your Figma designs. You can find more information about how to set up this integration here:
