How Do I Connect My Domain to Shopify Domain?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:15 pm

If you’re running a Shopify store, you’ll want to make sure that your domain is properly connected. This will ensure that your customers can find your store and make purchases without any issues. In this article, we’ll show you how to connect your domain to Shopify.

First, you’ll need to log into your Shopify account. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Domains” tab in the left-hand sidebar. On the Domains page, click on the “Connect existing domain” button.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to connect your domain to Shopify, be aware that there are some potential risks involved. First and foremost, your domain could be suspended or even deleted if Shopify decides to terminate your account. Additionally, your DNS settings will be changed and you may experience downtime while the new settings propagate. Finally, if you have email hosted on your domain, it will likely no longer work after connecting it to Shopify.

Enter your domain name in the box and then click on the “Check” button. Shopify will then check to see if your domain is available. If it is, you’ll see a message that says “Domain is available!”

Click on the “Connect domain” button and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process. Once your domain is connected, you’ll be able to use it with your Shopify store!
